Privacy Policy
How WeekOrbit collects, uses, and stores account, planner, payment, and essential cookie data.
What we collect
WeekOrbit stores the information required to operate your account and planner.
- Account data such as email address, authentication provider, and profile settings.
- Planner data such as tasks, groups, notes, tags, and user preferences.
- Operational data such as API key metadata, minimized usage-event metadata, and security logs.
- Billing data such as Creem customer and subscription identifiers, transaction status, and records needed to reconcile payments, refunds, or disputes.
- Essential cookie data used for login sessions, locale preference, and security flows.
How we use data
We use your data to provide the planner, secure accounts, process subscriptions, enforce product limits, and investigate abuse or failures.
We do not run third-party advertising cookies inside the application. Optional analytics cookies on our public marketing pages are described in the Analytics and optional cookies section below.
Service providers
WeekOrbit relies on trusted processors to deliver the service.
- Supabase for authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel for application hosting and delivery.
- Creem for checkout, subscription billing, and payment webhooks.
- Resend for account and service reminder emails (welcome, trial, explicitly opted-in getting-started, and weekly planning emails).
- PostHog Cloud for optional marketing-page analytics (loaded only after you opt in via the cookie banner).
- DeepSeek for the optional in-product planner assistant. When you use it, the task, note, tag, group, and conversation content needed to answer or perform your request may be sent to DeepSeek.
Built-in AI assistant
The planner assistant is optional and limited to WeekOrbit tasks, schedules, groups, tags, statistics, and product help. It uses a server-held DeepSeek credential; your email address is not sent as the model user identifier.
The Free plan includes up to 20 assistant turns per local day. Pro access includes up to 500 turns per local day. Lifetime plans purchased before they were discontinued keep the same allowance. Technical rate and concurrency limits also apply.
Conversation history is retained until you delete it. Deleting a conversation deletes its message content, stored tool parameters, action plans, and related undo snapshots. We retain a content-free usage and action-result ledger for quota, abuse prevention, and security. Other AI action snapshots are eligible for deletion after the 30-day undo period.
AI can make mistakes. Destructive, global-tag, recurring-series, and larger bulk actions require an in-product confirmation before the saved server plan is executed.
Analytics and optional cookies
Our public marketing pages can load PostHog Cloud to measure pageviews, button clicks, and signup-funnel performance. PostHog only loads after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Only Necessary or do not respond, no PostHog code is loaded and no analytics events leave your browser.
Inside the logged-in application we record product behavior events linked to your account user ID (for example: task creation, view switches, structural task changes, completion-marker time, ADHD mode toggles, and Pro feature gate hits) in our own database. Event payloads use approved metadata fields and do not copy task titles, notes, tags, or other free-form task content.
After you accept optional analytics cookies, we may retain a minimized first-touch source code, landing path, and first-seen time. If no valid consented capture exists when an account is created, its attribution source is recorded as unknown.
You can change your cookie choice at any time from Settings → Cookie & analytics preferences. Switching from Accept to Only Necessary immediately stops further PostHog activity and clears PostHog plus unregistered first-touch browser storage. A minimized acquisition row already linked to your account remains until account deletion or an approved deletion request.
Emails we send
WeekOrbit sends a small number of account and service reminder emails, delivered through Resend as our email provider.
Reminder emails contain a one-click unsubscribe link for their category and an unsubscribe-all link. The one-time welcome email contains an unsubscribe-all link. You can also manage reminder categories from Settings → Notifications; turning off Notifications disables reminder emails.
- Welcome email: a one-time product introduction shortly after you create an account.
- Trial reminders: a heads-up before your Pro trial ends and a notice when it ends.
- Weekly planning reminder: a short nudge at the planning day and time you set. It is only sent if you have explicitly chosen a planning time.
- Getting-started reminders: at most two reminders on days 1 and 3 if you explicitly opt in, create tasks, and do not return.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and planner data while your account is active. Product behavior events are normally deleted after 90 days.
Limited security and billing records may be kept longer where needed for abuse prevention, payment reconciliation, refunds, tax, or legal compliance. Contact support if you need account or data deletion assistance.
Your choices
You can update profile data, planner preferences, and subscription status from the product.
You can accept or dismiss the cookie banner for non-essential preferences. Essential cookies remain required for login, language routing, and payment flow integrity.
